Warrior pose on a yoga mat

welcome!

I’m Kelsey Rose. I truly believe that practicing yoga is a microcosm of practicing life. The way we show up on our mats often mirrors how we move through the world. There are infinite lessons to learn through this practice; that’s why yoga is so meaningful to me. I created this website for those who want to attend events I’m a part of, practice more with me, or explore the books, podcasts, and resources that have shaped my journey.

about kelsey

I’m currently a student at Naropa University in the Buddhism-Informed Contemplative Counseling program. It’s an amazing place to be - I’m learning to apply Buddhist Psychology to therapy and deepening my meditation practice. I’m also a 600-hour certified yoga instructor. You can find me teaching at YogaSix in Edgewater, CO. If you’ve never been to one of my classes - contact me and I can get you in! Come to Sunday power, it’s my favorite :)

important note

I do not lay claim to the practices or wisdom I share in class. Yoga is an ancient tradition with roots in South Asia, in close connection to Hinduism and Buddhism. What we often see in the West is a small slice of a vast, holistic system. It’s important to acknowledge that yoga has been appropriated and commercialized, most times without honoring its origins. I approach this practice with deep respect. I feel grateful to study this tradition and to share what I find through the lens of my own lived experience.
